Cargo Tracking Notes (CTN) for the COTE D’IVOIRE (Ivory Coast)
All CTN, FERI, ECTN, BSC applications must be filed within ten days of the vessel sailing from loading port. Failure to file within this ten day period will not insure that the CTN will be validated prior to the vessel arriving at discharge port and subsequently the cargo may be subject to delays and penalties.

The Ivory Coast requires an established credit account and a registered member or approved company to file for the BSC certificate (Bordereau de Suivi des Cargaisons) or what is commonly known as the Cargo Tracking Note. Commercial International Services LLC (CIS) is a registered member with the Ivory Coast and maintains a Euro security account with that country. Shippers and their representatives may file for the BSC on line direct with the Ivory Coast but must obtain a registration and establish a Euro security account.

Commercial International Services LLC (CIS) offers as independent special service, the filing and issuance of the BSC certificate for all shippers, forwarders and interested parties.

The following copies of documents are required by the Ivory Coast authorities. Please email legible copies to us:
  • Signed original liner bill of lading

  • Final Commercial Invoice

  • Certificate of Insurance
(Issued Locally to Ivory Coast Importer)

  • Certificate of Origin

  • Ocean freight invoice

  • Detailed packing list

It is strongly recommended that all documents be submitted within five days after sailing from load port due to the possible delay in validation of BSC certificate. Shippers and or their representatives should allow one/two weeks after presentation of the documents for the validated BSC.

Ivory Coast tariff for BSC certificates:

BSC issuance - $85.00
When applicable
Admin/Banking Fee - $85.00
